I never thought my vision of a Great Gatsby themed party could truly come to fruition, but how wrong I was. I had previously seen promotional pictures of events and I had attended a combined 50th and 21st party where all the decoration had been by Cotswold Dreams; it was all very impressive. My husband therefore suggested we use Cotswold Dreams for my 50th, but because it was my birthday, I was politely told to not get involved! What I learnt after the event was that Emma held an initial planning meeting with my husband to discuss the theme, location of the party, as well as budget. She provided lots of options and ideas as to what would work best. Emma liaised with the venue on a regular basis and ensured all her decoration ideas would work for the venue as well as continuing to keep my husband informed throughout.

On the night of my party, all dressed up in a flapper dress, I walked into the venue to be completely transported to the 1920’s. No matter where I looked there were beautiful touches to the Gatsby era, I was completely blown away and reduced to tears. It wasn’t just the decorations and the balloon displays, it was the sheer attention to detail coupled with personal touches; picture frames with quotes from the Great Gatsby to photo boards decorated with pearls and feathers. As my guests started to arrive, all of whom had fully embraced the Gatsby vibe and looked stunning in their outfits, were in ore of the transformation of the venue. Cotswold Dreams had blown my vision out of the water, they gave me the best birthday party I’ve ever had, and even though the party only lasted one night, the memories they helped create will last a lifetime. I sincerely cannot recommend this company enough, you will not be disappointed.
